Carter's lists several with the 1940 versions at $75K and $100K.

Might have to up that price range - you're talking about some of the most highly prized & priced guitars out there!

Dale Owen is another fellow to keep an eye on. Doesn't have any 40's at the moment but does have a '36 and a '37 at a cool $175K each.

Looking at that 1936 and wondering how someone would "remove overspray" and stop there without removing the original finish?
