All complications are solved I will be there Saturday mid morning thru Sunday. Really looking forward to the show and meeting as many forum folks as possible. If any sort of meet up is arranged, please think of me and send me an email.

thanks,

Nice job Bob! How is the turnout compared to woodstock 2017?

Always difficult to assess. It was not as busy as Woodstock, but the room is more spacious so that makes it difficult to assess. I think turnout was slightly up (tbd). Some builders told me that they made some solid connections. Yesterday was the first gorgeous day of Spring back east. Today we’re expecting rain so perhaps the crowds will be busier (tbd)?

Great pics thanks. Really enjoyed the day yesterday. Beautiful guitars everywhere as the pictures show. Met a lot of the luthiers who couldn't have been nicer. Nice to see the McKnights again. About to head back over again now. Will see what day 2 for me brings.

Jeff

i had a great time on saturdayy ! something weird though... one of the guitars i tried was a little difficult to play. action a little high. when i got home i realized that my middle finger hurt. then looking closer ; it looks like i got a splinter! still hurts and can't find it! i don't know .this would only happen to me.

Great experience! It was awesome to meet a few folks including Bob, John T and the very pleasant McKnight family. John’s Gibsons were a blast to play and the concerts were super. I also got to play Bob’s new Sexauer and it is indeed special. And who knew that Livingston Taylor is such such a trippy genius.

Until next time -

John

Default Some videos

Here are some short videos taken with my iPhone from this morning...

Here’s Jimmy Bruno checking out my Buscarino Rhapsody and my Sexauer FT-16-C.

Here is Ted Ludwig playing my Comins 16” Classic Archtop at Bill’s booth this morning.

It was nice to meet you as well and also to audition your Sexauer FT-L00-JB/2-C... I agree with John, it was a great weekend!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and introduced themselves. It was great to finally connect a face to your screen names. We had a great time but we are pooped as usual. An AGF’r purchased Adrianne’s #6 guitar at the close of the show. I’ll let him share his story later on. Understandably Adrianne is on cloud 9

It was great meeting folks and sharing a couple of Gal-made, WWII-era, Gibson flattops!
