I’ve never been a die-hard fan but I was a fan as a kid when they were here in the 70’s with players like Roman Gabriel, Deacon Jones, Merlin Olsen, Rosie Grier. Now that they have returned to LA it only made sense to attend a game.

2 turnovers so far for the Pats. Not a great start so far.

Wow, Pats just ran back a kickoff for a touchdown!

After watching those 8 downs or so at the goal line that resulted on a bears touchdown, I went for a bathroom break and when I came back, Gostkowski was kicking off back to the bears and the score was 14-17. Missed it! [emoji23]

Bears get a chance to make something happen now with that interception.

They almost tied it up with that Hail Mary pass.

It shouldn't have been that close given the Pats were up 14 with a few minutes left. Brady made a rare bad pass for that INT. Great ending though.

Penalties really hurt the patriots in this game. But yeah they had a very comfortable lead with little time left on the clock and the defense almost allowed it to tie.

Bad day for kickers. Ravens kicker misses extra point for first time in his career. Ravens loose. Dallas kicker misses field goal with 3 seconds left (hit the post) and Redskins win.

Drew Brees joins Brett Favre and Peyton Manning as the only quarterbacks to earn a victory over every NFL franchise.

I was going to say, "Didn't Tom also beat every team?" Then, I was like, "Oh yeah... nevermind."

Tom Brady needs to join the Jets and beat the Patriots. Wouldn’t that be poetic justice. I think Goodell would approve.

Does Brady have a win against every non-Patriots team in the NFL?

How about Mahomes? Another 4 TDs and ~350 yards passing last night for the Chiefs.

To this I say "how's the rest of the AFC East?" Probably not quite as bad as the AFC North, I'd wager - but that's not saying much. The Steelers progressed to 1st place in their division with a 3-2-1 record - on their bye week no less!
