Default Looking for cheap transportation?

Oil drum cars out of Thailand: a homebuilt (or modified go-kart) frame, a lawnmower engine, a set of buggy wheels, and you're good to go - got kind of a cool 1920's race-car vibe :

Looks like you'd need some long arms and a tall torso if you wanted to sit back.

Actually I think if you were tall you would have a pretty tight fit, (I think it's the just photo perspective is deceptive ), given these are 50 gal drums. If you look at the size of helmet on the back of the first buggy and the scooter at the end , you get a better idea of the relative scale ...

I like the combo of a "200L" sticker and a roll bar ... fun.

I am starting to wonder about what I will drive as I get older, when my current vehicle wears out.
4x4's and the like are road legal but cost as much as a car...this looks like a fun, affordable alternative.

Wow, those little oil-drum cars look like fun! Probably a little loud...

I work 4 miles from home down one busy street...I could totally rock one of those...in the warmer months, at least

Depends - if I lived in a "golf-cart" retirement community I'd have one of these in a heartbeat...
