Default Collings 02G SB IRW/German Spruce Custom

[B]Collings 02G German Spruce Top Rosewood Custom

This is a dream guitar both in terms of sound as well as appearance and ease of play. The size is that of a Martin single 0, with a body depth of 4’’ equivalent to an OM or 000, but with a lower bout width of 13 7/16” making this a perfect living room couch instrument while producing enough volume to fill the room. The relatively rare tone wood combination of select straight-grained Indian rosewood and German spruce top ($600 upgrade), makes it very responsive to even a light touch with bell-clear tone yet has excellent headroom, producing strong volume with good string definition when played hard with a flatpack. Nut-width is 1.75” (custom upgrade), ebony fingerboard, and bridge with ebony bridge-pins with MOP dots, bone nut and drop in bone saddle. Ebony peghead veneer, with MOP logo, Ivoroid heal cap, Ivoroid body binding, custom ordered with style-3 (b/w/b/w/b) purfling vs. standard herringbone for a cleaner, more elegant appearance. It has the gorgeous medium light Sunburst ($650 upgrade) Collings is famous for, revealing some light bear claw figuring visible in the German top as well as medullary rays transversing very even medium width growth rings. In short, a beautiful, resonant sound board. Condition is excellent with a few barely visible scratches on the back and no evident play or fret wear. Label is signed by Bill Collings. OHSC included. Collings has limited production as a result of layoffs necessitated by the pandemic. It will be very difficult to find a guitar with this desirable configuration, especially in this condition.
Price: $4300 (net to me)+ shipping. (No trade interest, thank you.)

Hopefully this link to photo album will work. (Thank you, Milerun!)
Any shadows, reflections in pics are lighting artifacts. The appearance and condition of the guitar are nearly flawless.

I click on google photos link and it takes me to the album. Not sure why it's not working for others. Any advice from moderator or anyone, please?
Thanks!

It's probably a private album.

Go to the page that shows all your albums.

Hover over the thumbnail for this album. Click on the three dots in the top-right of the image.

Then click "Share Album"

At the bottom of the pop-up window, click "Create Link" and click the "Create Link" button from the next pop-up.

Then click the "Copy" button to get the link to an album that can be shared publicly.

Beautiful guitar and it has to be a little tone monster. So wish my hands were big enough to be comfortable with a 1 3/4 nut. GLWS!!

Thank you, 3eatle, So, I gather pics are now viewable?

It is a tone monster. Very strong, but nuanced. Something about this wood combination on this body just works.

BTW, nut is 1.75" but neck on Collings is not vintage large, it's quite comfortable.

You’re right, the neck is pretty comfortable relative to the VN or T models...I had the same guitar you have for sale except it had Madi back and sides, German top. If it didn’t have a 1 3/4” nut I NEVER would have sold it! Someone is going to be really happy with your guitar.
