Jon, would you take a stab at tabbing what he is doing on the short Chorus at appx. 1:50 of the video?

I promise I won't bother you again with this tune as I am sure you are sick and tired of it or me by now. lol

Thanks so much!

OK! You mean the bridge, btw, not the chorus. (Hey, if I do this for free, I get to be pedantic about your terminology )

Here's what I get. Remember this is still his tuning (Eb Bb Eb Bb Eb F at fret 2), and not yours. If you want to use a different tuning, you'll need to work it out, adding or subtracting frets depending on how your strings are tuned.
The first three lines are essentially the same. The (9) is not audible first time, but it seems to be the other times. The rhythm is loose, so that stacked chord on "I'm" can be arpeggiated as you wish, and all the open strings are optional.
Code:
------10---10--10\8--7---7----------2-----0--2--2--------------
-----------------------0----------------0----------0--
------------------------------------0---0----------
-----(9)-------------5--------------0---------0------
-------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------0-------------
Some days I'm strong some days I'm weak
Some days I'm so broken I can barely speak
there's a place in my head where my thoughts can roam
.
---------------------------------------------
--------0-----------0--------------------------
----2----------2--------------4------------------
---------------------------2-----2-------------
-------------------------0--------------------
-2----------2---------------------------------
  Somehow I've come home
In the middle of that 4th line, an interesting high note emerges which - bizarrely - he is clearly not playing (you can see his hand at this point, 2:15). I don't know where this comes from, unless there's some secret second guitarist backing him up, or he's miming (!), or the note has somehow been overdubbed later. It's not a harmonic, although it is an octave above the note he's singing.
And in case you think its a sign this tuning is wrong , it's a high C, not available in any tuning where his hand is that low on the neck.

But if you want to replicate this note, it's easy enough to do and does make that last line sound better.
Code:
---------------7----------------------------------
--------0--------(0)----------------------------
----2------------(0)----------4------------------
---------------------------2-----2-------------
---------------7--------0--------------------
-2--------------------------------------------
  Somehow I've come home
The notes in brackets are optional (filling out an F7sus4 if you want to know).

Since the debate is continuing I took another look at the video and agree with Jon that the guitar is tuned to
(sixth to first strings) Db-Ab-Db-Ab-Db-Eb - which with capo on second fret would be Eb-Bb-Eb-Bb-Eb-F

RGCC, take another careful look at the 18" to 21" mark in the video

Jon, my terminology within the theory of music is laughable at best!!!

Jon and Derek, I can't thank both of you enough for all the help and I have learned a lot from both of your comments.

Derek, I will look at the video a bit closer at those two spots you mentioned.

Jon, I am going to take your advice and use the tuning you and Derek suggested so it will match the video. With my tuning I have to use the (e) string to create the melody. It sounds fine but I would like to play it as he does.

Also, what guitar is he using? Is that a Martin 00 without a slotted headstock?

Not sure if I have ever seen one.

Thanks again guys, it's great folks like you that make this forum what it is.

I'm pretty sure that is indeed C#-G#-C#-G#-C#-D#, I normally keep two of my guitars in that tuning. It's "Open Page" (Jimmy Page, as in Rain Song, EADADE) with the low-E dropped down to D, and then everything moved down a half-step.
