My fingers are not "sensitive".
They are short, fat, and stubby. Anything smaller than 1 11/16 on a standard scale, or 1 3/4 on a full scale and I can't cleanly chord many first position chords. I certainly have no issues transitioning from a 6-string at 1-11/16 to a 12-string at 1-7/8

I started out 2years ago and my tutor lent me a 1 3/4” Martin in class while my yamaha at home was 1 11/16”. It did annoy me everytime I go home and practice with my Yamaha as it felt different! And of course, there’s a big sonic difference between the Martin and Yamaha as well. I ended up getting a Taylor which is 1 3/4” and I felt much better. |

I play guitar, mandolin, and ukulele, so when somebody says a sixteenth of an inch more or less at the nut could be a dealbreaker it's like they're speaking some alien language.
