Greetings,
Got a Ventris, then a BigSky. It's been done to death, opinions about the two. I dunno, I like 'em both. I do like having a few presets available without needing a midi switcher/pedal though. Anyway this is recorded direct. Collings OM2H/Baggs Anthem SL, Grace Design ALiX, Ventris or BigSky L/R out into an Apollo/Pro Tools. If anybody... |

Really nice playing. They both sound great in my opinion, and I can't figure out what's not to like about either one.

Beautiful! Like ‘em both but the Ventris tremelohall is something special, as is your playing and the compositions. Question: is there any way to get close to that sound without spending $350 or so? Any less expensive units in the ballpark?

![]() Thank you for that rb1591! Yeah, I'm sure any Tremolo Pedal and a less spendy Reverb Pedal would get you there. The clip's in stereo so it's moving around a bit. It doesn't sound quite the same in mono. |
