Default Anthem SL - Source Audio Ventris & Strymon BigSky

Greetings,

Got a Ventris, then a BigSky. It's been done to death, opinions about the two. I dunno, I like 'em both. I do like having a few presets available without needing a midi switcher/pedal though.

Anyway this is recorded direct. Collings OM2H/Baggs Anthem SL, Grace Design ALiX, Ventris or BigSky L/R out into an Apollo/Pro Tools. If anybody...

Really nice playing. They both sound great in my opinion, and I can't figure out what's not to like about either one.

Beautiful! Like ‘em both but the Ventris tremelohall is something special, as is your playing and the compositions. Question: is there any way to get close to that sound without spending $350 or so? Any less expensive units in the ballpark?

Hey GoPappy, thanks! Yeah, I mean just pick one and go...and the tons of other ones that are out there that sound great also.

Thank you for that rb1591! Yeah, I'm sure any Tremolo Pedal and a less spendy Reverb Pedal would get you there. The clip's in stereo so it's moving around a bit. It doesn't sound quite the same in mono.
