I'm returning the e945 as I determined it's a counterfeit! It was not easy to figure out, but ultimately there was no logo on the little plastic square on the element. I also see that when I ordered mine on Thursday there were only 4 left in stock and the price was $114. Now there's only 15 left in stock and the price is $99. The listing makes it look like it's from the Sennheiser Pro Audio shop, but it's not.

At Amazon you can go right to the Sennheiser Pro Audio Store, and the sale price was listed there, so pretty sure these are the real deal.

They did run a sale on the 935s and 945s a couple of years ago at $99 each (I bought one of each) so this price is quite possible.

I never had to worry about bogus gear in the past (other than the obvious Chibsons), so this possibility is very troubling these days. I hope you guys get the good deal on the real deal! Great mics these 935s!
