Default Smoking Deal Alert! Sennheiser E935 microphone 50% off!

I picked up one of these a few months back on Amazon for full price and liked it so much I've been wanting to get another one. Regular price is normally $249 - on sale right now for $122.50!! Don't know how long it will last!!

Smoking deal is right, nice psa! I picked up two when Senny blew them out a few years ago at $99. Killer dynamic mic here that I use both live and amateur recording.

I see they have the e945 for $114! Do you think it's legit? The listing looks funny as the list price is off.

I’m a big fan and pushed them on everyone who would listen when they were last discounted (ended up buying 4)…

However…

Since then the sE V7 has come onto my radar and for some folks that would be a better fit and for a regular price that’s lower than the discounted Senny, which is still a class mic, even at full price.

I've already got two 935s and two 945s but at that price I'm tempted to get another one of each. There are fakes out there, but the ones I got from reputable sellers have funny lettering on the mic bags. That's supposedly one "tell" of a fake.

Those are similar prices to the 935 and the 945 that I bought a few years ago. They are very good performance mikes.

I ordered an e945--hope it's not a fake!! The list price threw me off on the listing as it's inaccurate. And it only shows a 15% off discount.

I've become a little wary of third party sellers on Amazon, particularly when an item price is well below what it normally sells for. It could be new and it's exceptional deal or it could be an open box, refurb, or someones return.

The seller listed for the e935 also had sold a refurbished Kobalt pneumatic impact wrench.

Worse yet might be a fake, although more likely on eBay......

Good luck!!!!

I always suspect that hugely discounted products on Amazon are simply being ported by someone from the counterfeit stuff that's always available on Alibaba, AliExpress, and the like. You can purchase a "U87" for less than $30, so don't think that someone won't re-brand cheap import knock-offs and sell them to you for "half price".

As far as the Sennheiser goes, I'd e-mail Sweetwater because they match legitimate offers on products they carry and provide you with an extra year's warranty at no additional cost.
Since their price on the e945 is $200 I'd suspect something ain't quite right.

I decided to cancel my order to be safe--hopefully it will be cancelled before it ships out. Probably too good to be true at $114 for an e945. Edit--it was too late to cancel--just got the email. So will look it over carefully when it arrives and send it back if necessary.

It’s a little more than half price but still a good deal. Are you sure they are 100% authentic and not refurbished though?

The first one I bought (from this same seller/ad) was both new and genuine. I have no reason to doubt the second one will be any different but I will report back if it is not.

Checked ebay two different prices. :around $200 which is the real price and what the stores charge and 60-70 dollars, which are undoubtedly fakes. I bought mine for $100 back when the online stores were charging that. I have considered buying a second but they seem to be more durable than most as mine has survived rolling off a table onto a hard floor more than once, unlike my previous ND 767. The only thing wrong with my e935 is the screen is clogged and rusting. I just discovered that new screens are available on Amazon and placed my order: two for $19.95.

I noticed those the other day on amazon, but suspected they might be fakes. Amazon has issues with their 3rd party sellers. If it was from a known music store that is different. But easy to tell with a few youtube videos and amazon will honor easy returns

At Amazon you can go right to the Sennheiser Pro Audio Store, and the sale price was listed there, so pretty sure these are the real deal.
