Kopp build started!!

I’ve been waiting about 10 months to get the email from Kevin that it is time to start the build!

Going with his K-35 style with 60s hog, master grade torrified adi top and closet relic finish. Can’t wait to get some pics to post!

Sweet!….I got my 12 fret maple/toasted Sitka K-35 with a CR unchecked finish last November….exactly what I hoped it would be….. it has everything in tone playability and looks that I told Kevin I wanted. I could not be more pleased. No doubt you’ll be fully stoked when Kevin delivers your K-35….

…I also have a 2015 Adi/Hog K-35 that I bought used while he was building my guitar. I dig it too much to let it go even though that was my intention once mine was done.

Thanks! Yes kevin is doing one of his typical burst finishes on the guitar, albeit we discussed it being light so that you can still see woodgrain.

That's what he did to my Trail Boss. I was shocked when I first saw it because I was used to Kopp's standard beautiful dark bursts that I've been seeing and thinking about for years...

On mine, he used a light almond burst on the top and an almost amber on the back. It works! The wood grain pops! I love it. I also got the Closet Relic finish...which kind of reminds me of the finish the old '51 Epiphone Zephyr Regent Deluxe I used to own
