Default Next step for ear buds

Have been using shure se15 or something like that, bout 100.00 set now for awhile for in ear monitoring. Im really enjoying the in ear and thinking of upgrading earphones. What are some yall like under 500.00 for guitar and vocal monitoring?

I dont have any complaints with what Im using but ive been researching and reading alot and everyone says the more drivers you can afford the better the experience?

SE215 earbuds seem to hit a sweet spot for decent quality at a reasonable price. I find them comfortable to wear and OK to listen to music, though they can be a bit harsh at higher frequencies. You can spend more, of course, and get a better sound - I've read that the SE425 earbuds are a noticeable step up, for example. I don't think it always follows that more drivers gives a better sound; the quality of the drivers counts for a lot (and maybe more?). But I haven't tried the more expensive Shures, and for regular music listening I have bluetooth earbuds (which aren't useful on stage).

But in any case, are you planning to use them just for live stage work? Or would you use them for listening to music in other situations?

My feeling is that on stage the benefits of higher fidelity / better quality would perhaps be lost - it's not really an environment for critical listening. But if you're listening to music just for pleasure then it could be worth spending more for better quality if you prefer to stick with a wired solution.

It would just be for stage primarily. I have some decent enough bbluetooth for other applications.
