Default Emerald X20 Amplified Loop Demo

I provided some live background music for a social event today following a church service. My Emerald X20 has Graphtech Ghost Piezo bridge and K&K pickup system. This is the first time I used a smaller, more portable sound system comprised of : Fishman Loudbox Artist. I used the Line-out from the Fishman Loudbox Artist to feed a Bose S1 Pro on the other side. Worked out great!!

I was astonished how great this worked out. I created a loop so I could walk out beyond the stage area to listen for balance, so I decided to record the loop.

My delay, a Diamond Memory Lane Jr. was just a little heavy in the mix. I also had a Nuenaber Seraphim reverb pedal engaged.

Here is my sound check (Loop rhythm and solo from the Emerald X20) New strings are Daddario XS .012 - .053.

Sounds great! I have appreciated your playing long before you got this X20... it is fun seeing how much you are enjoying your Emerald.

Thanks Captain Jim. I am over the moon with this Emerald! By the way, the X30 is coming back. LOL (I'm an idiot and never should have let that one go) Yeah you could say I've become an Emerald fan boy for sure.

Your X20 sounds great. My X20 with an Anthem SL has been my go-to performance guitar this summer. Hot and dry this summer here in Eastern Idaho followed by very cold and even dryer winters.

I have really grown to appreciate my Emerald's stability and performance consistency this year.

Thanks for the comments. It was 109 degrees on Sunday here in Tucson when I played the show. That was unseasonably hot for September but this summer has been brutal. I played my Martin HDC-28 on a patio show at Ritz Carlton several weeks ago. First set was fine. Second set my guitar action got super buzzy due to the heat and humidity.

The Emerald is infinitely more stable and user-friendly during the hot humid monsoon season. The neck stays smooth and the stainless frets on the carbon fiber fingerboard allow my transitions up and down the neck to slide more effortlessly. My traditional wood guitars (Martin and Collings) can feel kind of sticky and my transitions up and down the neck are not as fluid as the Emerald. I have become a major fan of Emerald guitars for a number of reasons. It is a superb instrument for all but especially helpful for working/gigging musicians.
