Whoa--don't like to hear that!

Fingers and toes crossed that they show up soon and get the love they deserve!

Guitars arrived one hour before the show opened...so plenty of time.

Hey Ryan - that looks like the Primavera OM - how many did you end up taking?

I'll answer for Ryan--we brought three. And indeed, the guitar you see IS the Prima Vera OM. Good eye, Stan. We also brought the Indian rosewood/Bearclaw Sitka 000, and its younger sister, the Curly Mahog/Carpathian 00.
We thought about bringing four--that's typical for us--but instead we're trying just three this time. Makes a more comfortable table, that's for sure.
Wish you all were here!

Steve

I played the Curly Mahogany/Carpathian 00 yesterday - what a great guitar!

Three is better than one! I love that primavera OM - I've been severely tempted by that one, more than once. And that 000 bearclaw is one of the best guitars I've played yet. If it weren't a little too dressed up for my tastes (and wallet), I'd be playing it today. Best of luck in the show: the more you sell, the less temptation I suffer.

Thank you so much! Come back and play it some more. Final day deals and all that. Just sayin'....

Stan, Tim Farrell really made this guitar sound great in our demo. It IS a tempting guitar!

We got to come home from La Conner and start working on a few new projects. Today the task was to clean up and lay out our SJ on this amazing set of Osage Orange. It is difficult finding this wood to begin with, but to have it so well-quartered, and SO clear is a real treat. This one will be fun!

Thanks guys. The Osage Orange right now is actually Yavapai Yellow or something xanthic. It will mellow, but it’s even brighter right now than that shot shows.

In other work today, Steve is peeling the bridge tape off of a black top.

That black top looks awesome. Especially with that rosette.
