Default A lesson section from "....and why not?"

Thanks to an advanced student of mine in Alaska, I've got the okay to share this Youtube video where I was teaching him the final section to a composition from my A Tale To Tell cd, "....and why not?"

Despite having written it, I've rarely been able to play it as fluently/fluidly as I'd like, especially after hearing Todd Hallawell's cover of it on 'To Nashville & Back', but I pretty much know how it goes, of course.

I record ALL my lessons for individual students, basically the day we've 'met up' on FaceTime where I go over all the pertinent parts of the section to make sure they understand what I'm doing. Having them be able to play it at that moment is totally unimportant.

It's VERY EASY to tell when something is being understood, or not, and THAT is why every lesson has to be tailored to a particular students hearing comprehension & technical facility, but I digress.......

So here's the ending section of '....and why not?' taught in my typical fashion. I hope you all enjoy this 'behind the scenes' look & listen!

Best,
Howard Emerson
