That level of figure is going to truly pop under the finish! Lovely woods...and that kind of 3D carved rosette is next level stuff that only Elliot, Lehman, and of course somogyi and his ex disciples seem to do as an option

Not spruce, but for a topwood, another extraordinary and rare, one-of-a-kind log: LS redwood.
