Default 2012 Halcyon AJ Advanced Jumbo on eBay!

I found this on eBay 2012 Halcyon AJ Advanced Jumbo Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Rosewood, Larrivee http://r.ebay.com/rcwj02

The description claims torified Sitka and rosewood!

I have a Halcyon on order but I don't expect to see it for many months. I'm seriously thinking about getting this one and using it until mine arrives. Then, maybe I'll sell it because my wife won't allow me to keep them both...unless I buy a lot of lottery tickets...

Somebody should jump all over this!

My notes were sparser then than now, but here's what I have...

Rosewood /Sitka (not torrefied)
tapered bracing

It's fair to assume 25.5", 1 11/16" as that's 'standard' for that model and it was built for The Guitar Store Seattle not custom so likely received that spec

Ebony board and bridge

Default thanks for clearing that up

I wondered about the claim of the torrified top.
I'll just keep waiting....for that magical call "Now serving #261"

Mwahaha this Halcyon is now mine all mine! Should be here in a week I hope. My primary guitar is a Halcyon dread that I purchased last winter, and I am in love with it to say the least. Best acoustic guitar I have ever played. I use it for nearly everything in the recording studio, and need a second acoustic for live shows. When I saw this AJ for sale on eBay at that price it was a no brainer!

Mr. Bond- thank you for building these ridiculously amazing guitars. There will definitely be more Halcyon guitars in my future.

Sorry Al_Plays_Poorly, I don't mean to rub it in lol. When your Hal arrives you will be extremely happy!

Thank you for the kind words, they go a long way

I think you'll find it to be a suitable complement to your dread...
