Thanks for that Ozzy. It certainly is a surreal experience playing something of this quality that I've built myself!!

Thank you very much SJ. Perhaps I've lead a sheltered life, but I've yet to play another guitar that is as balanced across the bass, mids and trebles as this guitar, certainly not one with this kind of projection too.
Thanks for following along!

The guitar sounds really great on the clips. I suspect it is going to get a lot of playing in coming weeks
Aaron doesn't use much Tassie Blackwood, mostly because the really good stuff is ridiculously expensive, not just to buy, but also to ship if bought in Tasmania. That small stretch of water between us and mainland adds quite a bit to the cost.

This guitar sounds great and fits your voice so well. I love listening to your clips!

If you keep making music like this in front of the minister of finance, I think she might crack. And then we get to follow along again!

Congratulations and enjoy this special instrument!

Thanks for sharing this! The guitar sounds lovely and I enjoyed the song very much. It’s been ages since I’ve heard that tune, you did a great job. Congrats all around!

Thanks for that mikealpine!! It was one of the first songs I learnt when I first started singing. I only recently pulled it out of mothballs and realized I'd been playing it quite wrong. I should probably go over a few of mt other songs to sr how much they have evolved over the years!!

First leg to Sydney was uneventful. The Hiscox case has some rub marks, but no scratches, and the guitar is in pristine condition!!

Safely home, however there is a dent in the side of the Hiscox case from its travels. Inside, there is no evidence of the dent, so it's done as advertised.

Wow, Mr Zandit, you have done something really special!

By the way, I'm jealous of your singing voice, you make it sound so natural. You can tell the Minister of Finance that your fans are clamoring to see/hear your second self-built guitar! (I think it's called "leveraging your goodwill").

I took an extra couple of days off after the course to relax and just allow the new baby to acclimatize to its new surroundings. It's settled in quite well!! I head back to work tomorrow!
