Default New to Acoustic, See main Forum. Here is the white LP

So as to keep the acoustic forum pure, there is my 'other' guitar.

Sweet! I did see your other thread and your mention of a Les Paul. It's great to see it here. Does it have 490R/498T pickups?

500T and 496R, They pretty much full on in your face, take a bit of winding back to clean up. I have managed to get some tones that really make me smile with then though.

I'm familiar with those and they provide one hell of a punch. What amp are you using?

I bought that exact guitar last spring. My first LP. Bought it on a lark, but I really enjoy playing it. Some things sound better through it than any of my other electrics.

It did take some work to set up, however. Nut had to be re-cut, and the tailpiece had to be replaced because it was painted and not chromed, so it caused a ground problem (latter covered under warranty).

I'm using D'Addario's on mine, as well.
