That was a nice introspective piece, Phil. Your guitar sounds great as always.

Hi Phil I'm curious - what string gauges and brand do you use on your guitar for this tuning?

Another lovely composition Phil. The Zoom H1 sure works well for you. How do you set it (levels, etc.)?

Thanks JulienC

I understand what you are saying about the HD video and perhaps someday I will get a better camera since at the moment I only use my laptop webcam. However, to be honest the quality of the video picture is not at the top of my priorities and a HD camera would not improve the sound. My interest is mainly in the music. Thanks for your comment nonetheless.

Hi Steve - I just stick with the D'Addario EJ16 .012-.053 light on both my Brooks for everything I play. Seem to work fine even for the low C. The guitars are both 24.75" (630mm) scale length

Thanks Bill

Re the Zoom H1 I just plug it into my laptop as a usb device and record the video. I know from experience where to put it in front of the guitar which is about 18". I then take the audio off the video adjust the volume and a bit noise reduction using free editing softeware then put it back on the video. The sound is not great at all IMO so I am looking into upgrading to proper mics etc later in the year

Absolutely beautiful. I've always loved ambiguous/suspended tonality. This nails it. Thank you.
