Placed an order today for my first commission ever -- a McKnight Lowlander 12-fret! Couldn't ask for better people (Tim & Mary) to work with. Super excited!

Congrats. I love Jordan's work. I have had the pleasure of playing a number of his guitars over the years.

Best,
Jayne

I'm signed up for a student build OO with Stephen Kinnaird and Ryan Middlebrook at the end of February. Hopefully will have the guitar by early April. So excited!

Well done AGF.
I think we could safely call this over $500,000 on order within the community.

Pleased to be in exalted company on the list,

Thanks,
Ciaran

Indeed... (more likely >$1M)

The "AGF Custom Shop" serves a unique role in the custom acoustic guitar lutherie community (for both prospective clients and luthiers). Custom lutherie represents a tiny percentage of acoustic guitars produced each year. Players are in many cases (but not always) buying these instruments on faith without the benefit of auditioning their work. Seeing their work, how they build, finished guitars and owner impressions here serves an extremely valuable resource to prospective buyers.

It is great to see that despite these challenging times of uncertainty, there are still a great number of client/patrons of these skilled artisans. So far, we see > 60+ commissions from > 40+ luthier/builders that will be shared in this forum in 2021.
