What is the string spacing at the saddle on the Vintage D ?

2-3/16" ?

Straight from the CEO- see Jim K's post, and since RainSong does not do custom work I think it is safe to assume that all RainSongs are the same.

Thanks for the link.

That Rainsong Vintage D is a sharp looking guitar.

I was hoping against hope that it might be 2-1/4" or even 2-5/16" at the saddle. Had a feeling from a response received from Rainsong years ago about available string spacing options that it was going to be less than optimum for me.

If I do eventually order a CF it looks like it will be an Emerald, but only if I get to play one first. The only CF instrument I have owned was a CA Cargo. I was impressed by the build quality and plugged in sound, but not played straight acoustic. It was too small for me anyways.
