Moi Noir sans logo
Not quite an official portrait shot because the headstock got clipped, but it wasn't an official shoot except for the guitars involved. I was lucky to have 10 minutes in front of the camera........Photography by Rod Franklin for a future book of Monteleone Guitars.......

I agree, but the color shot is stunning. Between the guitar finish, the shirt, the hat....whew....But I need to find some rust colored felt....the green is just not quite with the program:-)
At some point I’ll post it. HE

Cool Pic!!!
Nice shot for sure! If you were not playing the blues, you should have been, from the look of things...
Carry on and stay well Paul

Now for double coolness see if they can show the guitar in its natural red with you and the rest of the image in B&W noir...

As an "ex" photographer and printer, I have long felt that black and white is more expressive, as the viewers are unconsciously involved in resolving the image, whereas colour pictures are more passively received - just my thoughts. Personally, I'd crop the detail, er, below the knee.

Color is real, B/W sucks the life out of a pic. I think a rust backdrop would be very good and the idea of some color is cool.

Pictures look great but one guitar I’m itching to hear from this years posts is this beauty. Any samples coming soon?

It stood up to a pair of AKG 414's as well as anything I've ever recorded with. I hope to have the CD done by mid September if all goes well. Maybe I'll sit down in front of my iPhone & Shure MV88 and see what happens. Regards, Howard Emerson
