Rest in Peace, Ennio Morricone
Italian film composer extraordinaire Ennio Morricone has died from complications from a fall that broke his leg. He was 91 year old. He composer over 400 scores as well as 100 classical pieces. MORE. RIP Ennio.

Back in the early 70’s traveling thru the Middle East I was in Israel for several months in the south close to Eilat on a kibbutz after that based in Eilat did day labor mostly harvesting field crops until word came that there was plenty of work as film extra for crowd scenes or as stage crew , the movie was “Moses the Lawgiver” with Burt Lancaster and Anthony Quayle , they took us all over the country for a month or so to different filming locations including to then a very remote Bedouin village Dahab and Sharm El Sheikh now a major tourist destination, great memories..and when the film was released the musical score was composed by Ennio Morricone .
