Thanks, Tom--it is a cool experience to see it with finish after putting in all the hours of building it!

Yeah, it does look like our guitars were suitemates at the Spa. Love how the color came out on yours--very tasteful.

Maybe they'll be making the trip back to Nacogdoches together...

Default Back from the Spa!
The Padauk CS-13 arrived back at Kinnaird West from Tony's Finish Spa!

Loving the looks of this guitar and can't wait to hear it sing!

Bridge is installed, slotted, waxed up and looking pretty...while the neck with its padauk fretboard looks on from the sidelines!

Really nice. Padouk will make such a superior bridge. Relatively light, Very resonant and the interlocking grain should help prevent splitting

Default It's alive!!!
Thanks everyone for all the nice comments.

The neck is on and it's now strung up, and the master has taken it for a test drive!

Ryan thinks it has good tone and describes it as "Clear and balanced and rich"--I can certainly live with that. I'm really looking forward to trying this puppy out!

I should have some final shots from the guys soon and Steve promises to do a video before they ship it out next week.
