Talking 2016 Cole Clark Angel 2 in all blackwood SOLD (pending funds)

SOLD (pending funds)

I'm selling my Cole Clark Angel 2 in all blackwood. I have owned this guitar longer than any other guitar which is a testament to just how great a guitar it is for live play. If you are not aware of the Cole Clark proprietary 3-way pickup system then you're missing out! Basically, Cole Clark designs their guitars around the pickup system, not the other way around. They built their business model from the ground up to produce a pickup system that produces the most natural amplified sound in the world and they nailed it. They also decided to use locally sourced tonewoods from Australia. One of the best is blackwood which has a tone similar to Koa.

This guitar is in very good condition. There are a few shiny spots in the satin finish in areas where my forearm and pick hand make contact, minor fret wear and a few small dents in the bridge from where a PowerPin system had been installed. Comes with the cool Cole Clark hard case in great condition as well. This is a level 2 model which has gold hardware and abalone fretboard inlays. These retail in the US for up around $2,799. Selling here for $1,250 which includes shipping to the US. Photos below. You can also see a video demo which I did by clicking the link down in my sig line to the NGD post where I demo the guitar acoustically and the incredible pickup system.

For specs, the Angel is a GA sized body with a long scale. The neck is thin and comfortable to play, like a Taylor neck but not quite that thin. Width is just metric but comes out to just between a 1 11/16" and 1 3/4" nut width with string spacing between 2 3/16" and 2 1/4". I usually prefer 1 3/4" nuts and 2 1/4" spacing and find both to be very comfortable on this guitar. The onboard EQ and controls are small and tasteful. The bottom jack is offset along with the battery compartment door which is nice as it leaves the bottom strap button free to install your favorite strap lock system or different button. The guitar is completely stock.

Not interested in any trades unless you have a RainSong Vintage short scale dread or WS with Anthem StagePro! I would also consider a trade for an Evolve EV30M column array amp. This is a great way to try the wonderful Cole Clark guitars at a fraction of their retail prices. PM me with any questions or offers.

Thanks, guys. It's definitely a great guitar for amplifying and of their three models is the best of bunch acoustically as well. I'm hoping they someday make a short scale version of the Angel. I'd be all over that.

Another trade I would consider is for an Evolve EV30M system.

Hump day bump. Not much interest here but getting some traction on FB which seems to be the case these days! Still, a great guitar for those that play amplified. Great price!
