Default Saddle Top Radius Alvarez-Yairi DY-45N

I want to order a new bridge saddle for this guitar and the Stew Mac site has options for different top radius. Do any of you know what that is for this guitar? The slot width is 3/32 and the choices for the top radius (compensated saddle) are 16" and 20". Thank you.

It would help if you posted what model number it is.
It would be nice to know.

The model number is DY-45N. Do you mean the serial number?

There are a few fretboard radius templates on line that you can print out onto card and cut out. That's what I did to measure my fretboard radius and then buy a saddle to match. The template I used had a 1" reference line so you can check that your print out is scaled correctly.

The template I used was this one:

Pretty much all the Alvarez and Alvarez by Yairi are 20" radius. I doubt you'll find a saddle on Stewmac that'll fit. I make them myself from blanks. And BTW I'm in Virginia Beach. If you need anything, any info or help with anything shoot me a PM.

Once again, the guy to go to if you don't have the info or a way to measure radius would be Bob Colosi; he has those specs for most guitars and can match it up for you.

There would be some final hand-fitting to be done, to get the height & length correct and so it fits the slot the way it should.

I've noticed that StewMac is one of the few suppliers out there who actually publish the radii on most Tusq saddles, if you decide to go that way. Not even GraphTec does that, nor do any of their people have a clue, which I find weird.
