Default Bourgeois Signature D Madagascar / Adirondack SOLD

For sale is an exquisite Dana Bourgeois Signature D in stunning Madagascar Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce bound by highly flamed Koa. The wood on this guitar is truly stunning, matched only by its tone. I have listed this guitar conservatively in excellent condition as it has very little play wear and is in near mint condition aesthetically.

$4200 OBO Shipped in CONUS (sorry no trades on this one)

Please see Reverb Listing for pictures and further details:

Below is a description of the guitar from Bourgeois as well as specifications:

Elegant, understated and exotic.
Distinguished appointments meet exceptional tonewoods. Highly flamed Koa binding creates the perfect visual complement to any combination of tonewoods. Koa binding became such a popular option that we decided to design a model around it, pairing Adirondack Spruce and Madagascar Rosewood to fashion a sonic palette comparable in subtlety and richness to the appearance of this tableau of tonewoods. No other decoration is required.

The Flatpicker’s Flagship.
Standing the test of time. Keeping up with the times. Over the last eighty years, the Dreadnought became firmly established as the world’s most popular acoustic guitar. It’s easy to see why. Its deep body, wide upper and lower bouts, exceptionally large air cavity and long, 25.5” scale length combine to set the standard for exceptional projection and low end presence.

Decades ago Dana noticed that during the first few years of a large guitar’s life under string tension, guitar tops “relax” until stretched to their limit, then later “harden” as a result of permanent distortion. During relaxation, bass is boosted and high frequency response dies off, often beyond desirable limits; balance is not restored for years, until hardening occurs. In the 1990s Dana modified the traditional Dreadnought bracing system by scalloping only the bass side of the X brace and lightening it’s tone bars. The result successfully counteracted a Dreadnought’s tendency to “unbalance”, and over the years has attracted scores of Dreadnought players including Bryan Sutton, Josh Williams, Andy Falco, Courtney Hartman and many others.

What if, I don't want to trade you, I want to give you a few guitars... Plus cash......

Is that an option?

Wait, are you saying you would consider that option?

I would be willing to package multiple guitars plus a negotiated amount of cash in return for this guitar if you're saying that is something you would consider.
