What are the best tonal combinations, in your opinion?

Follow up: what type of soundboard wood would you pair Claro Walnut with?

Spruce.

I’m partial to Appalachian red spruce at the moment because I just bought a few tops from Hampton brothers, and I like the idea of using regional materials.
