Greg is one of those players that if your motivation was based on watching other guitarist you'd just give up because he just makes it look so natural. He's an entertainer as well.

lol! When I read your first comment I thought you were a hater but then you had a great punchline, Barry.

I'm surprised so many have responded to this thread. Glad to hear that Greg is getting his props.

He's fun to watch for sure. If you spend any time on other guitar forums, you'll come across his vids fairly regularly. His level of talent is up there with the very best.

Amazing talent and I'm sure he's got a mind like a steel trap. I have had my eye (and hands) on the Tele inspired Reverend signature model but it's a bit steep for an imported solid body, IMO. What I DO like about the guitar is the fact that the body is a bit larger than a Telecaster, a good thing for tall players who make some guitars look like a mandolin.

I didn't like him when I first found him, but I have now warmed up to his sense of humour. As a guitarist he's phenomenal.

Yeah, and LeBron James' game is fully adequate.

Greg was associated with Truefire a number of years ago, and there was some channel I stumbled on that featured some of their players.

He is a monster player and fun to watch. I lost track at the time (at least 5 years ago) and only remembered him when I saw this thread.

So does LeBron play a Gibson LP then ?

I was offering my opinion the quality of the organization of production, the audio, and video, of the few I have seen. Which is either well done, or it isn't . YMMV

Love his demos. At times it is frenetic playing, but he can smoothly interject quotes from other songs into whatever tune he is playing with the best of them.
I would like to catch his act live. Manchester Music Mall ? I'll have to check that place out.

His humor can border on being like Robin Williams, but at least he can turn it off when not on camera performing.

Have listened to excerpts from his recorded works and was less impressed, not with his playing but with the music itself. Probably have to give them a few listens.
