FS: 1998 Taylor K65c - Withdrawn (for now)
You don’t often see Taylors with koa like this nowadays. It’s a 1998 K65c in near mint condition. At some point prior to my ownership it was sent to Taylor for installation of an ES2 system. You can see it looks spectacular and it sounds and plays as good as it looks. Taylor case included. Price is now $3200. Shipping and any payment fees are the responsibility of the buyer. No trades and US sales only, please. It’s impossible to get a good picture of this guitar without capturing reflections in the room. If you see something strange on the guitar, it’s just a ceiling reflection or me.

You don't see Koa like that anymore! (At least not at this price point) Golden-era Taylor with spectacular aged Koa which has no doubt opened up over the years. I don't even play twelve string and I'm in love.
Good luck with the sale!!!!

Wow
Mighty fine All Koa 98.
This will be wide open by now…. Do you know, ES1.1, 1.2, or 1.3? The 1.1 uses two AA batteries, the others 9volt If I hadn’t just bought a 95 LKSM, I would be all over this. Beautiful. Best on the sale Paul

Thank you. In the late ‘90s, I used to see spectacular koa and maple guitars at the Arlington, TX Guitar Center fairly often. Not so much nowadays.

Off market. I got an inquiry and panicked a bit. I don’t think I’m ready. Perhaps back on the market at a later time.
