I posted this picture on the wrong thread.
Mary and Tim McKnight paid a shop visit to add their good vibes to Jamie's guitar project.

They are a fun couple and my wife and I enjoyed their visit immensely.

That's Jamie's guitar I'm holding down. It's a light guitar.

How nice to have such distinguished visitors in the time of Covid. I have not played one of Tim's guitars, but I have heard only great praise for them and appreciation for Tim and Mary as kind humans.

Default Lap bevel intermediate stage

U6uuThe underpinnings showing as is the curved piece that goes there

Glued down and nearly shaped. Just a little touch up to do.

Always holding your breath for pics from the white room.

Looking fab Jamie & John! Everything is very tastefully put together.

I just noticed that there is an arm bevel and a lap bevel but no rib bevel. Any insight as to why that is so? Is there a Manzer Wedge?

Thanks Han
I believe there is a Manzer wedge. No lap bevel mainly because Jamie did not want one. There is the slip-off-your-lap factor to consider with lap bevels that may have been a determining factor.
