Tnx ...prob never noticed. Not in my newer or older Martin and made an assumption....

Only way I would buy that is if the seller accepts $100 bills with Abe Lincoln's pic on the face.

I read that some years back that in China the first one to register a trade mark has the use of it no matter if it is one that is already registered in the rest of the world. A Chinese entity registered CF Martin Est.1833 as a TM and that Martin was not allowed to sell their guitars under that name in China. Does anyone know if that is still the case?

Martin won their appeal around 2016.

To anyone who chimed in to warn me thank you! Just wanted to post the result of your help =)

Since giving up on the "Martin" I encountered an all hog om from a great Brazilian luthier.

I'm really happy with it and I think it ended up even better than getting something like an 00015m per example.

Got It used but in very very nice condition, this video was recorded by the luthier and his friend Leo Eymard, before it was sent to the original owner.

Though I think I gave up on having a Martin, I couldn't be happier.

(all hog Max Rosa with her sister, a Sitka / Mahogany Cassias guitar)

Cheers!

It would be even more bizarre to think that Martin would ever put a 28 designation on a guitar with no spruce, no rosewood and no binding.
I Agree, that´s the most stupid i´ve seen :-)
