It is Wade.....and it sounds great too!

I'd been oogling over it since Danny at APM had it on his site a couple of years back. A forum member and friend beat me to it by a few hours. So, I kept after him all this time to PLEASE LET ME HAVE IT!!

I've put it down long enough to eat and post a couple more pictures....but it's calling to me from the other room....

Sorry it was a very dreary day here today, so the lighting didn't make for my normal quality pics.....

Love his headstock design....

Steve certainly does know what he's doing. I've been so fortunate to live near him and see and play some of the guitars he sends out. He and Ryan put their heart into them, and just watching them do the little things is really impressive. Ya got yerself a good one there.
Play well,
Bob

It's definitely prettier in person that I thought it would be from the pdf at Acoustic Pro Musician.

Had someone ask about the woods used.....master grade Myrtle and Sitka, Bocote binding on the body and fingerboard, Imbuia burl rosette, headstock veneer (front and back) and Brazillian RW bridge.

I can hear it slowly waking up after the cold weather shipping and not being played previously much for the last few months. I think in a few days it will be back to full potential.

Wow... go out of town and look what happens!
If any other of you fine players are on the fence about buying one of our guitars, let me know and I'll leave town again.

Todd, thanks for the kind words--and the other favorable remarks from the rest, too.
Yes, spend some time with it and let it wake up. I do believe you'll be rewarded. I'm delighted to have a guitar in your arsenal!

Steve

You guys......

Steve's (and Ryan's) capabilities have been the best kept secret and now you're telling the world! Pretty soon they'll start believing it themselves and there will be this rush on St Kinnaird guitars and then, well, they'll start charging what they should for their work. So let's make a private pact to keep what they do under wraps...eh, what?!

PS Danny is a great guy too!

Many thanks for the generous comments.
This guitar was built as a "teaching tool".
A young man was learning the lutherie ropes, and it seemed the best way to teach was to illustrate each step of construction with a real guitar project.
So this was built as a "demo" while he built his first guitar alongside.
When completed, I was surprised how much I liked the finished product.

Hope you do too, Todd!

Steve
