Got the Rode NT-1 2 weeks ago, it had the old-style shockmount and pop filter.

Recorded a couple of quick tracks with it, but no real try-out yet.

I am pleased with my Rode NT-1. Mine is the newer version from Q1 2020 with the metal pop filter. I really like the flat frequency response.

Moving from Washington to Idaho put it in a box for the last 3 months, but it is coming back out soon as the new year approaches

There is a great Christmas sale going on a mic I know to be very good for recording vocals and acoustic guitars. The mic is the Violet Flamingo Junior. It's a no frills mic with a great capsule, built in Latvia, and it's just fantastic sounding. It's on sale for $299 with a 30 day money back guarantee...

My MXL990 is not working properly so while searching for a replacement, I decided on the AKG P420. I love it so far.

Bought myself a Roswell Mini K47 for Christmas, so far very impressed on vocal & guitar tracks. Looking forward to tracking drums soon.

So far I'm liking the Rode NT-1. Did a 2-mic rhythm acoustic track, with the Rodd in the fret 12 area and my old AKG on the lower bout, and liked the overall balance of the 2. This morning, I recorded a lead acoustic track, and just left the Rode where its mounted for my Zoom events, and picked it up clear and distinct.
