Default Volume pedals for passive & active?

Can you recommend a decent volume pedal that can handle active and passive pick ups? I know Ernie Ball offers one but what else is out there theses days?
Thanks

Default

Any active volume pedal will handle either. A passive pedal of 250K to 1M ohms will handle both, but you will loose the low impedance flexibility of the active pickup's output (the higher resistance passive volume pedal will not be a good match to a mixer line input, only high impedance guitar inputs). Passive pedals of lower resistance, 25K ohms, will not sound good with passive pickups (the nature of the problem will depend on the type of pickup) but will drive typical mixer line inputs with an active pickup.
