Hey folks,

In a couple of weeks, I'm gonna make a vlog entitled "Am I Too Old To Learn The Guitar?"

In this video, I will discuss artists like Howlin' Wolf and T-Model Ford, both of whom got their breaks in the music game at the ripe old ages of 38, and 70ish, respectively.

Are there any other artists who you reckon would be worth mentioning?

Are you saying these artists didn't learn guitar until later in life, or didn't attain significant recognition as musicians unti later in life?

I think there's a big difference, especially to older aspiring guitarists.

To my understanding, Howlin' Wolf wasn't able to sustain himself entirely from music until his late 30s. On the other hand, T-Model Ford didn't even pick up a guitar until he was 57 or 58.

Whilst I imagine the majority of older people want to learn a musical instrument for sheer enjoyment, I suspect there are a few who would seriously like to pursue music as a career, despite their age.
