Cleanse your palate
I am going to put this out as a PSA. I am always looking for inspiration and this blows me away. Brian Wilson has released new versions of some of his best known compositions just for piano. This is not about specifically about guitar, but music itself. I am excited everytime I hear this. It is like listening to Bach. I hope you listen to this with great speakers or headphones. This is pure genius hiding in plain sight:

I found that a really difficult listen Jerry. I much prefer the original tracks (posted above). All I'm hearing is the original tracks in my mind, which were of a time and place. And they were songs not instrumentals. These piano versions turn the songs into elevator music, or background music at a restaurant.

Listening to Good Vibrations, I hear many of the subtle nuances and contra melodies embedded in the original harmonies brought forward in the piano version. It must be what Brian Wilson was hearing the whole time. I hear the lyrics in my head while listening to the piano.

I'm with Robin on this one.
The original 'Good Vibrations' is such a vocal and musical masterpiece.

I listened for the first couple of minutes, then skimmed thru the rest...I didn't enjoy it, and it sounded like being stuck in an elevator for far too long.

I like it! It sounds good through good headphones.
It's like listening to Al Di Meola play Glen Campbell's music. It's not for everyone. The Beach Boys were such a good vocal group that a lot is lost just hearing this music on the piano regardless of whether the piano player is the original composer. - Glenn
