Arrow Custom Collings D2HG - 1 23/32" nut - a bunch of factory upgrades!

I copied and pasted my reverb pitch here, but I seriously would sell this guitar, with every confidence in the world, to my closest friend..

It hurts to put this one on the market… THIS custom Collings D2HG is the most versatile, even, responsive, and balanced guitar I’ve had the pleasure of playing. Where some guitars have their unique voice that calls out in specific directions, which is always pleasant, this Collings sounds like professional-grade Ferrari of a guitar; it’s like it can lusciously crush any music put before it. Elegance? In the bag. Precision? With finesse. Feel? Feels like it’s impossible to put down, as though you want it to read you a bedtime story every night. Indiana Jones would close his eyes if he were in the same room as it, for fear his face would be melted.

Besides the custom upgrades, this guitar has premium woods, an easy action/intonation, the right nut width, and couldn’t get better if it tried. There is some swirling on the pickguard that is almost impossible to see unless you tilt it in the right light, there are a couple tiny taps in the finish at the strap button, and the back has some finish worming. It’s in excellent shape 9/10 with the tiniest of love taps that act more as christening for performer than anything else. Comes with the plush, ultra cush, Collings case.

This guitar has some serious upgrades, the type that make feel better about how subtle and coy you are.

UPGRADES:
- Fingerboard inlays have been removed for a pro look/feel
- Peghead plate has been upgraded to Brazilian Rosewood, an option that Collings doesn’t even offer anymore!
- Nut has been cut to 1 23/32” – 1/32 less than 1 3/4'” for a tiny bit of relief
- Saddle is a Cutthrough style, instead of a drop in!
- Fingerboard has binding!
- Pickguard has been upgraded to Colling's Dalmatian style.

If you were to order this guitar now (which you couldn’t because it has Brazilian Rosewood on it), it would be over $5,000!

If you are serious about the music, want the brand name, want the “total package” guitar – look no further. If you are looking for a dread that will take you there and be the next “lifer”, I submit to you a very serious candidate!

Alec is a great seller and if I were in the market for this beauty I wouldn't hesitate to buy another guitar from Alec!
