Default Waterloo Dread?

Just curious to see how many would like a Waterloo made full size standard 14 fret dread?
Built the same like Waterloo's, with a simple satin finish, big neck and wide spacing.
I love the Waterloo's dry funky sound, and would love a dread with that old fashion feel without being too expensive, and travel worthy.

Any thoughts?

It's called the Jumbo King (WL-JK) and it sounds awesome!

Yeah that JK definitely looks great, but I meant a standard full size 14 fret dread shape like the D1A or D2H. Sorry for the mis-information!

Probably not going to happen in the Waterloo line. These are all inspired by depression-era budget and catalog guitars.

The closest thing to what you're describing (a no-frills traditional D from a high-end maker) is something like the Road Edition from Huss & Dalton. Still not inexpensive by any measure, but much more bare-bones with satin finish b/s and simple cosmetics:

Seriously...they sound pretty amazing!

To the OP.
You should try one if you get the chance, it'll surprise you.
LOUD and dry mahogany goodness.

On a whim, I took mine to a bluegrass jam, and it more than held it's own. Everyone there thought, WTH is this when I pulled it out....they all wanted to try it afterwards!

I just got a wl-s deluxe, so the JK would be next on the list; but I'd have to possibly find a used one!

Also thanks for the head's up on the Road Series H&D.
I may give a call to the shop or PM message.
