Removed - I'll repost it again soon.
Sorry, note mistake, I should be more careful. Etude number 1 by Villa-Lobos will be posted again when I get my act together.
I appreciate when someone points out a note mistake, but, in a case such as this one, it just drives me crazy and I have to redo it. Thank-you Zippychip. Last edited by dean18; 08-31-2016 at 07:34 PM. Reason: fix my mistake |

Review the music. Your second chord is not right.

Thanks for the appreciation on that. Not necessary though. I sent a private message.

Wow. Pretty harsh action by removing it. IMHO

I'll put it back up
I guess I'm a bit of a perfectionist in that sense. I'll do it right (I hope) and repost it.
I don't think of it as being harsh, it would drive me crazy. I absolutely appreciate Zippychip for pointing it out. I didn't mean to draw what may be unwanted attention so I'll change the title in the post. Last edited by dean18; 08-31-2016 at 07:38 PM. |

Personally, leaving it up would have been my choice... Why not own the fact that a performance might be less than perfect?
I'm kind of tired of recordings and videos which are "manufactured" to make us believe that every performance is absolutely perfect. Same goes for the armchair quarterbacks that are quick to point out others flaws. just my humble opinion...

I've thought about that
I think a recording is different than a live performance. In a live performance you make a mistake once and its over with. Who wants to listen to the same mistake over and over again in a recording? And I am grateful to the person who pointed out the error. I learned from it and I improved my performance.
I make lots of mistakes as does everyone. Not every mistake needs to be corrected, but in this case, I'm happy I did it. |

I wish
It's true I played a wrong note and wanted to correct it but my recording are not live in a single take. I record the video and sound separately and then sync them. And I do more than one take which is pretty standard in recording classical guitarists, or anyone else for that matter.
