Terada Pro Stage Limited Edition 12 string with Barcus Berry
Hello,
does any of you know anything about this guitar? All I know is that itīs a japanese guitar, all solid mahogany and equiped with a barcus berry pickup - seems to be THE pickup sytem in the 80s. Does somebody own this guitar and can tell me a bit more about it? Is a price of round about 650 Dollars (condition is mint, no dents or scratches, original luxury case is included) cheap or expensive for this kind of guitar? Thanks a lot, greetings |

That's probably a top retail price for that guitar. Make sure you play before you buy. It wouldn't hurt to offer less than the asking price.
I wouldn't expect much from the BB pickup. Pretty dated technology.

Thank your for your opinion!
I'm quite insecure considering the price because I think it's quite a lot money for a 35 year old Japanese guitar which company name I've never heard before. So is this good quality? Terada seems more known for cheap guitars. I was actually offered the chance to buy a 1995 Westerly Guild JF 30-12 and I'm thinking about if it would be better to just safe the money and wait for the Guild which is really gorgeous. |
