Price difference in Godin Multiacs - ???
I'm looking at the Godin Multiac line and apparently the only difference in the Nylon Duet Ambience and the Nylon Encore is that the former has the 4-way Fishman pickup system, and the latter has an EPM dual-source system, which also seems pretty nice. But the Ambience is about $500-600 more. Am I missing something??? That's a heck of a lot of price difference for just that different pickup system... and Godin's website isn't that much help.

difference
The Duet is a chambered mahogany body, the encore is a solid maple body.

Thanks, Bruce -- I must have completely missed that "detail!" Now I'm definitely leaning toward the Duet. Thanks again....

The Duet actually has a little acoustic tone as compared to the Encore.
I loved mine and would like another. |
