Default SOLD: Goodall TROM

SOLD

OK - I'm crazy for doing this and I'll probably regret it.

I just picked up this TROM and for a guitar that was built in 2003, you'd never know it. The guitar is in phenomenal shape - no scuffs, dings, scratches, etc. There is a minuscule amount of fretwear and the back of the neck is getting a little glossy (originally satin finished). This guitar must have been put in a closet and forgotten about, because it looks new. Original TKL case (arched top and back with crushed blue interior) included.

This is a standard TROM with Adirondack, rosewood, and maple binding, The woods used are perfect, as to be expected from a Goodall. 1 3'4" nut width.

Everything you've ever heard about these guitars is true - the biggest sounding OM out there, hands down. Volume and tone that rival my Collings dreads. The adi is opening up nicely and this will only get better with age.

Not really looking for trades, just looking to thin out the herd - I'm extremely happy with my Collings', so the last one is the first one out. Again, i'll probably wish i held on to this, but we all know how it goes.

Looking to get $3500 plus shipping. I'll split the paypal fees.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Smile I've got the twin!

Wow, I could never part with mine! I have the identical TROM (built in 2005) and a Collings as well. I will be taking mine to the grave -- I've never found anything that compares. These are the most versatile guitars out there, and you are so right when you say the are as loud as a Collings. Good luck with your sale, I know someone is going to be very happy with this baby!!

Thumbs up

the TR series Goodalls are amazing instruments. i was fortunate to own a TR000 and it was probably the loudest most balanced guitar i've ever owned. everybody who heard or played it loved it.

i like the classy way these are dressed out as well with the herringbone and all. sounds like a very fair price as well.

best of luck to the seller and new owner

That was my TROM. Tim is not kidding - it really does have volume that rivals a dread. The guitar looks beautiful, plays easy and sounds awesome. It was handled very carefully while in my care. This is a special instrument.

Default Wood ?

Tim,

I was reviewing the Flicker pics and noticed the label lists Mahogany and not Rosewood as your post says. Can you clarify?

Thanks,
Jim

Mahogany is the neck material. EIR is the first item listed on the label, the picture just cuts it off.

Sorry for the confusion.
