Question Mystery Guitar???

I have been scouring the internet trying to find clues. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Any ideas?

Look closely at the measurements.(It's tiny)

The scale is too short for a terz and the body is too large for a uke. I wonder if that might be a salesman's sample... just something small and compact in order to show the craftsmanship of the instrument as he shopped it around in person to guitar shops.

I don't think I'd be impressed with the craftmanship given how the neck meets the body just on the 13th fret on one side and noticeably lower on the other side.

Looks somewhat home made to me given the asymmetry, and possibly English? 'Chas' is often used to shorten 'Charles' here. Other than that, no idea.
