SOLD /// 2006 Goodall TROM / Master Adi top / AAA EIR ~~REDUCED~~
It seems these guitars rarely need introduction, anyone who has played one or owns one will let you know what a pleasure they are to play. This is an incredibly beautiful James Goodall Traditional OM acoustic guitar. This was made in 2006 in Kailua-Kona, HI. I bought this guitar from Buffalo Brother's in California in 2012, and I've loved every minute with it! You can see the details below in an email from Jean Goodall.
The only thing I've done since buying it is installing an LR Baggs Anthem, which sounds killer. I've never used it at a gig or show, just at church a few Sundays. It's just stayed as a personal guitar in my bedroom (my Martin DC16 won't quit being so faithful), and I've kept it humidified consistently. Comes with the TKL American Vintage Series Guitar Case. Flaws: It's hard to find any scratches. There is one, about 1/4" in length on the headstock that is only noticed in reflections (you can see it in the picture). There is another one along the bottom of the back, around 2" in length and only visible in reflections. I could not get this one to show up in a picture. There are 4-5 "dents" on the back. Just small imperfections, about half the size of a grain of rice - no buckle rash. For its age, this guitar is in awesome condition. Here are the features for this specific guitar, which I've copied and pasted from an email direct from Jean Goodall. ------ Traditional Rosewood Orchestra Model guitar 25.5"scale length 1.75” nut width -AAA East Indian Rosewood back and sides -Master Grade Adirondack Spruce top -Herringbone Rosette & Purflings/ Chevron Marquetry Backstrip/ Blacklip Mother of Pearl --Logo/ Boxwood bridge & end pins/ Tortis pickguard -Mother of Pearl Notched Square Fretboard Inlay -Waverly Nickel Tuners w/ Ebony Knobs -Binding on body and headstock- White Maple -Ebony: Fretboard Binding, Peghead Veneer, Bridge, Fretboard -Bone nut & saddle -Mahogany satin finish neck -To rebuild this guitar the suggested retail price = $7,300 -TKL American Vintage Series Guitar Case= $400 ------- Entire google album: https://goo.gl/photos/6zQ72KrNofcHuGuH7 ------ SOLD!!! Still available! I added a few pictures of string height and pick guard marks. Had a few PM's but nothing set in stone. I'm moving in a couple weeks and would love to pass it on before then!

Hey Paul,
whats the string spacing at the bridge? I am interested. Where are you moving to? I have cash and an OM2H that I may be interested in trading if the $$ and specs are good. Bobby |

I had a chance to play this guitar yesterday. it was great. Powerful tone and clean overtones, and all of that was on aging strings. I could only imagine how this would sound with a new set of PBs on it! Paul is a great guy. I'd vouch for the instrument and seller.
This is a steal of a deal for someone looking to get their first boutique/high end guitar. |
