Thank you for sharing that wonderful story. Paige (and her friend) have beautiful voices and I hope that uke will take her far - she certainly deserves it!

Jayne, my wife and I agree that we have been so blessed this past year - many of those blessings coming from people I've encountered through AGF. The little I did was just a way to pay it forward. We truly believe that we were merely the tools/enablers in this situation for His will.

Thank you too and Merry Christmas!

Default A great (acoustic) Christmas story...

Thank you all, I've relayed your sentiments to Paige and she's real appreciative and grateful. I'll post any pictures or videos if we can obtain any.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Great story, exactly the kind of thing I like to hear about at this time of year. My 2 year old is getting a cheap uke for christmas, she loves playing with my guitars so hopefully she'll like this as much. Just need to find a sturdy one...

Regardless of the story, that's a lovely version of that song and worth listening to anyway.

Default A great (acoustic) Christmas story...

Hello everyone, Paige had her first Christmas performance yesterday where she played:
- Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas"
- Wham!'s "Last Christmas"
- Feliz Navidad

She got a huge round of applause with a few folks even feeling the need to stand up! Even more, another musician in the crowd had a gig later that evening and invited her to play a few songs! She went to the later gig and received the same type of applause!

We had the first free lesson yesterday before her performance giving her a crash course in live performing. Her parents and all involved are really excited for her talent and reallylooking forward to helping her establish herself as a musician!

Merry Christmas!
