The 000-1MH is the same width and depth as the Collings OM, however the longer body generally produces more bass and volume. The all mahogany body produces a balanced volume and is articulate across the treble, midrange and bass spectrum. The mahogany top lends a warm and lush tone. It’s a very responsive guitar, setup is perfect, and it plays like a dream in all positions. The Collings 000-1MH is ideal for any guitarist who wants strong volume response from an instrument of comfortable size with a simple yet elegant appearance. It also handles a flatpick well. The mahogany used to make this guitar is quite beautiful and rich in color with a very tasteful abalone rosette. The slightly wider 1 13/16" modified V-neck makes the guitar an excellent choice for finger-style players or classical players looking for a comfortable steel string guitar. The 000-1MH also responds very well to a pick. The string spacing at the bridge is a comfortable 2 5/16". I have just had it set up by a master luthier, a new bone saddle was made. Action is 6/64” to 4/64” from low to high strings. There have been no modifications or repairs made to this guitar. This guitar is in as near mint condition as can be other than a brand new one. The 000-1MH comes with the original Collings TKL Deluxe Hard Shell Case also in excellent condition. The label inside the guitar has also been signed by "Bill Collings." I purchased this guitar from the original owner, a collector, and it was and has been maintained in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment and has never been used for gigging. The fret wear is nil as the guitar has been played less than 25 hours. The reason for the sale is to fund a custom Dread., and I have other, less valuable 000’s. 0001 Mh #263xx. I'll have myself an all-hog Collings or Bourgeois one of these days, but not right now. Too bad for me, because this one is a beauty!

Oh, believe me, I regret it already....
But it ain't in the budget right now. Both my kids got married in the past 6 months, and the Visa card is smokin'.
