Questions for Neck Up users:

Can the guitar be put in its case with the strap installed?

How much fiddling around do you have to do to go from cased guitar to playing the guitar?

Thanks,

You have to take it off (unless you have an very oversized case.) I store mine under the headstock in the case.

Once you’ve adjusted the NeckUp strap, it stays in place. It fits over the end pin like most straps, and the other end attaches via a suction cup. Takes seconds to put on or take off. If you have an open pore finish on your guitar, you apply an acetate sheet (supplied) where the suction cup goes.

My first instruction at my first lesson was elevate my left foot and rest the guitar on my left thigh. I’ve never changed, it feels comfortable and helps maintain good sitting posture imo.

Reminds me a little of those "do you hang toilet paper so it feeds from the top or the bottom" threads that pop up occasionally on various forums.

We all know the right answer to that one, though...

LeDave -
There’s a piece of plastic enclosed in a section of the NeckUp that would prevent leaving it on the guitar when putting in the case like the example you show of a strap fitting in with your guitar.
