SOLD--Circle Strings Advanced Jumbo - Adirondack & EIR ($xxxx)
This is a really beautiful slope shoulder dread built in 2013 by Adam Buchwald who builds in Vermont under the Circle Strings name. Adam was a senior luthier at Froggy Bottom for several years and his guitars are every bit as good.
This slope shoulder has very pretty straight-grained Indian Rosewood back sides, Adirondack Spruce top, ebony fretboard, figured ebony bridge, really nice, slender and fast mahogany neck and Schertler tuners. It's a fairly lightweight guitar, incredibly responsive and balanced with a big enveloping bass and clear articulate intonation. The nut is 1 3/4". String spacing at the bridge is 2 5/32". The scale is 25.5". Action is low and neck angle is excellent with a full height saddle. This is a really fine rosewood slope shoulder and a steal at $xxxx shipped and insured. If my Iris Guitars DF slope shoulder (made by Adam Buchwald) is any indication of how this guitar might sound, it has to be a beast!
